Approach
Process-oriented psychotherapy
Process-oriented psychotherapy or Process Work is an approach that allows you to take a deep dive into your own thoughts and feelings. It's a way of looking closely at what's happening inside you, like when you feel upset, confused, or just curious about yourself.

Imagine your mind is like a big, beautiful garden. In this garden, there are many different plants, each representing your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Some of these plants may be blooming and happy, while others might be struggling or tangled up in weeds.

A process-oriented therapist is like a guide who walks with you through this garden. They help you explore all the different plants – your thoughts and feelings – and understand why some are thriving while others are struggling. They also help you make sense of the hidden meanings and patterns that may be present.

Sometimes, they might ask you to talk about your dreams or the stories that play out in your mind, because those can reveal important clues about your inner world. And, they pay attention to how your body responds to things, like when you get tense or have a stomachache because of stress. This is because our bodies often hold onto important messages about our emotions.

The goal of process-oriented therapy isn't to tell you what to do or how to "fix" yourself. Instead, it's about helping you better understand yourself and your unique inner world. By doing this, you can find your own ways to make your garden more balanced, peaceful, and colourful. It's a bit like becoming the expert gardener of your own mind and life.

In a nutshell, process-oriented therapy is about exploring your inner world, understanding your thoughts and feelings, and finding your own solutions to live a happier, more fulfilling life. Your therapist is there to guide and support you on this journey.
Tools
MINDFULNESS
With mindfulness, you learn to watch your thoughts and emotions without being hard on yourself. It's like being a gentle observer of your own mind, as if you're watching clouds passing by in the sky without trying to change them. This tool can help you find calm when things get tough or when you feel overwhelmed by your emotions.
GUIDED DRAWING
Guided Drawing is a creative method where you use both hands in unison to make shapes using things like pastels, crayons, or paint. By using both hands and repeating certain movements on the paper, you can recreate and release tension stored in your body. This can provide a way to express and acknowledge hidden feelings, especially ones that may be difficult to give voice to. It's a way of saying, "Hey, I see you, and I want to understand you."
SAND TRAY THERAPY
Sand tray therapy is a unique method where you construct a microcosm of your inner world by placing symbolic objects in sand. The process promotes meditative mindfulness and supports the exploration of the unconscious mind and shadow self.
The miniature scene you create in the sand becomes like a mirror for your life. It can show you things you might not have noticed before, like conflicts or things holding you back. It's a tool for gaining better self-understanding and acceptance.
